All Sprockets activities are carried out by qualified and insured Instructors.  Each session commences with a Bike and Helmet safety check and all locations are approved as being suitable for the training being conducted.

Riding your bike is not dangerous, on the contrary it has been shown to improve health and increase life expectancy.  However, as with all other forms of exercise there are a few simple steps which you should take before starting.

Make sure your bike is safe and ready. Check before each journey and seek assistance if the problem is beyond your knowledge.

Dress appropriately for the activity. Consider the weather and your planned route. Wearing a helmet is mandatory during Sprockets activities.

Consider training. Knowing when and how to deal with hazards makes riding safer. Bikeability is recommended for all young riders.
